Profile

I am an advocate based in Chandigarh, practising before the Punjab and Haryana High Court since August 2023 and the District & Sessions Court, Panchkula since January 2024. Since August 2024 I have also been on assignment at the Punjab and Haryana High Court as a Law Researcher.

In April 2024 I founded Nelson & Gray (India) Legal.

I came to law from engineering. I studied Chemical Engineering with an MBA at Dr. S.S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, with internships in the paraxylene unit of Indian Oil’s Panipat refinery and in finance at Nectar Lifesciences. I was fortunate enough to be hired for the role of Deputy Manager (Project Management) at Jubilant Ingrevia, Noida. I then pursued law at Panjab University (LL.B., 2023) and completed a postgraduate diploma in Mass Communication there in 2024.

That background shapes the work: questions where technology and law meet, data protection under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in particular, and the careful legal writing they need.

I work in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and have working knowledge of Mandarin and elementary Persian.
